About Us....

Founder Chris Janderwski
Chris Janderwski, age 19, started the Toys for Pets non-profit organization in 2003 at age 13. His motive was his pasion for pets. Since the beginning Toys for Pets has donated to more than 3,000 homeless pets in animals shelters across the state of Michigan. Mostly only donating toys to the homeless pets, Toys for Pets has been known to donate other needed items such as food and grooming supplies. Chris hopes to one day take his organization national and to provide a national spay and neuter program for individuals who cannot afford these operations. Only with your support can this dream become a reality.

Suspending Operations for 2009
Toys for Pets has decided to suspend operations and collection efforts during 2009 due to the current economical state of the country.
Businesses who have sponsored us in the past are having to cut cost and that means not being able to support our non-profit organization. Private donations have decreased dramatically this past year, as a result of the economy.
All of our staff work on a volunteer basis and pay for their own gas and food when they make deliveries.
We understand this is a tough time for everyone. This was a very hard decesion to make, but we do feel it is for the best.
We do still encourage those who can to continue to support their local animal shelters. Animals shelters are always in need of supplies.
We will continue our efforts in 2010.
Sincerely,
Chris Janderwski
